At a young age I dabbled in sketching, pastels, watercolour, you name it. What got my attention as I grew older was technology. I learned to transform my pencil sketches into pixels and added colour and later rendered with shadows and reflective light. I spent hours honing my skill in digital art, but that did not stop there.

I wanted the control other artists have with watercolour. And so I practiced, observing how colours and water react to brushstrokes. It was a long process because I did not do this full time. After my move to Canada, I had so much time in my hands as I struggle to find employment. I took this opportunity to pick up a brush and continue my exploration in this medium. With instruction from Sarah Stokes, I became familiar with the nature of the elements in watercolour. And then I experimented! I loved what I was creating that I opened for commissions and I was grateful to all those who saw and appreciate the effort I have put into learning.

Right now, I am also exploring acrylics and gouache while learning how to paint landscapes from Cheryl Flemming.
