Francesca is a Nova Scotia-based artist working primarily in watercolour and acrylic, specializing in custom pet portraits and wildlife-inspired fine art.
Her work has been featured in international juried exhibitions, where she received Honorable Mention recognition for her technical execution and expressive quality. With early foundations in drawing and digital art, she developed a disciplined approach to composition, layering, and visual storytelling that continues to define her practice.
Originally from the Philippines, Francesca’s artistic journey spans illustration, digital media, and traditional painting. After immigrating to Canada, she recommitted to her studio practice with focused refinement and consistent production, quickly establishing demand for commissioned pet portraits and expanding her original wildlife collections.
Her Birds of Nova Scotia series reflects careful observation of local species while exploring broader themes of migration, belonging, and connection to place.
Francesca continues to participate in juried exhibitions and community art initiatives, creating work grounded in craftsmanship, intention, and emotional authenticity.
Commissions and exhibition opportunities are welcomed.
